Strong experience in Port/VLAN Management, MAC learning, 802.1Q, 802.1ad, 802.1p, MEF services, Ethernet QoS such as metering, coloring, CoS mapping, scheduling, shaping, congestion avoidance, MEF 10.1/10.2, performance monitoring – meter, traffic scheduler etc.

Strong C programming skills with strong debugging and trouble shooting skills over Linux platform.

Exposure to L2 control protocols (e.g.

Excellent understanding of Ethernet, VLAN and L2 switching is required.

Deep understanding of BCM L2/元 packet processing pipeline, traffic management & forwarding engine, with strong experience on Broadcom SDK for XGS/DNX family based devices.

Deep exposure to IP packet forwarding and L2/元 switching i.e.

Contribute to integration with enabling technologies including third party software, existing platform and hardware capabilities.

Author and contribute in software design, development, validation, and documentation to deliver high quality, functionally excellent products.

L2 control protocols include 802.1ab LLDP, LACP, 802.1ag CFM, Y.1731, G.8032 ERPS etc.

Contribute to design and development of Layer 2 control protocol features and capabilities.

Develop advanced routing, service features and capabilities in a switching/routing system involving advanced routing: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP-PIC, Segment Routing, EVPN, Ethernet services and network virtualization.

Develop Dataplane & Broadcom centric features and capabilities in areas of Port, VLAN (Q-in-Q), MAC, L2/元 forwarding, Traffic Management - Ingress/Egress QoS / HQOS, ACL, MEF services, RFC 2544, L2CFT, mirroring etc.You will take an experienced and influential role contributing to Layer2/Layer3 data-path & Control plane architecture, infrastructure and features, delivering innovative solutions to meet demanding performance, scalability and feature requirements for carrier grade Ethernet services.
